PSC's Jose Blanco is Elected to the MWRUG Executive Board
Chicago, IL - March 2, 2009 - PSC Group, LLC. (PSC) is pleased to announce the election of Jose Blanco to the Midwest Regional Users Group (MWRUG) Executive Board as Treasurer for the organization.
With this new responsibility, Mr. Blanco will be participating in a renewed focus by the organization to connect with their membership throughout the region. Having concentrated solely on the educating of their members in the past and recently strengthening their affiliation with Quest International, they will be expanding their overall plan to include networking events where members can share their experience and explore with others how to address common issues. This new direction in 2009 will be launched by introducing the theme - CONNECT.
About the Midwest Regional Users Group (MWRUG)
MWRUG supports Midwest users by providing updates regarding the impact of the corporate changes on the PeopleSoft and JDE user communities. Established in 1993, MWRUG was founded to provide a communication channel for the sharing of common issues and concerns as a way to assist PeopleSoft customers in the region covering Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin and Iowa. In 2003, with the PeopleSoft acquisition of JD Edwards, the JDE Chicago Users Group (CHUG) was integrated into the MWRUG to form a new affiliation. Further change occurred when Oracle purchased PeopleSoft in 2004. In August 2005, the MWRUG affiliated with the Quest International Users Group. Quest is a not-for-profit association focused on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, World and PeopleSoft Enterprise users.
